As a very new member to the H.J.RPG family, I was wondering if some dedicated fan/geek has gone through the shows and made a list of episodes categorized by show topic and/or fan mail topic.
It would be an awesome tool to direct fans to the right episode for the advice they are looking for; i.e. a gamer that wants to run a game for the first time and wants to get all the info he can to prepare a game, the list would point him to season 1 episodes 4-7, season 2 epi's 3,4,7,8, etc.
Or....am I just high and out of my fucking mind?

I think it's a great idea, though it hasn't been done yet (to my knowledge). What we could use is a new person to group who hasn't listened to all of podcasts but wants to. This person could enjoy the podcasts while taking index-notes. Do you know anyone like that? Sent from my ADR6400L using ProBoards

The average Jacker is fairly lazy. We don't want to do all that crap. --Pukka Tukka

I think one of the first tags submitted by listeners would be "Windydrawers".

I considered doing this since I'm going back through the backlog. Then I realized it probably wouldn't work since I do all my listening in the car and at the gym.

I think every user that has less than 150 posts should take an episode and index it.

The easiest way to do it, I think, would be to make a Google doc and share it w/ all the listeners, so if someone happens to listen to an episode, they can note pertinent conversations in the doc.

Spiffy. The revision history would be good too. Without it Murphy and his laws says the document will get horked up.

I think I'll take on the task, being only 17 episodes into the second season, it wouldn't bother me to start over again. But how should I go about categorizing it? My Vigro will come out and I'll want it to be organized and to flow well too.
I was thinking, using an Excel format with subject matter to the side and just jot down what episode it is brought up in. e.g (Not actually true, just examples) GM/DMing ~ Epi's S1E2,3,4,5,6,10,11; S2E1,14,15 Setting ~ Epi's S1E12,13,21; S2E11,12 Etc, Etc...
Or should it go by episode
S1E1 - Intro; System Mechanics S1E2 - Gm/DMing

Or should it go by episode S1E1 - Intro; System Mechanics S1E2 - Gm/DMing Suggestion list of topics and then episodes in dot format. I might do topics across the top and then episodes down so it would come out sort of like this. System Eval | Gm/Dm | Roleplaying | 1.3 | 1.5 | 1.7 | 1.5 | 3.3 | 4.7 | 3.9 | 6.9 | 7.7 |
Just a thought, but that would make it searchable by episode as well. Cheers, JiB
