For the full presentation, I like to print out an Elder Sign, stack the peeps up on a plate under it, and wrap it up in plastic wrap. That way the eldrich sweets are kept contained and warded until it comes time to unleash them on an unsuspecting world.

Sugar coated marshmallows usually in the shape of chicks or bunnies. They come in a variety of bright colors and are usually sold around Easter (hence the chicks and bunnies). Although other holidays now have Peeps associated when them as well (jack o'lanterns, snowmen, etc.). www.marshmallowpeeps.com/

Honestly I don't like them that much either. They are indeed too sweet. But Cthulhu Peeps are fun.
