The tread title pretty much says it all... knowing nothing about this game but what's been discussed on the podcast and the AP and what's available on the Wikipedia page, is there a Masquerade (for lack of a better term) in Monsterhearts?
In other words, are NPC mortals aware that monsters exist, and sit beside them in class?

With Monsterhearts, things like this are entirely up to the GM and PCs to decide amongst themselves. Mac and I did a little brainstorming before meeting with the PC players, and came up with some parameters, but otherwise, any "Masquerade" or "Veil" type things are only if the characters decide they want something like that in their own mythology. It's very flexible.
