If there’s a thread for this episode, it’s misplaced or a Tapatalk error has been revealed. I suspect the latter. Feel free to merge it if ya have ocd. John Carpenter wrote the music to most of his movies. Maybe all. Stu Venable recalled Philip Glass, but I believe he was thinking about The Exorcist’s use of Tubular Bells, by Mike Oldfield, which became iconic after its use in that film. Carpenter is still making music. He recently released an album of unused scores, which are amazing.

Oh, and congratulations on traumatizing your kids with JAWS. I laughed my ass off at your story, but as an 8 year old kid I was shown that movie at a drive-in theater. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs, "CHANGE THE CHANNEL, CHANGE THE CHANNEL!"
My parents didn't acknowledge that the movie wasn't appropriate, and I was unable to swim in pools for several years. I am still uncomfortable swimming in the ocean.
