I've heard some good things about it. Apparently there is some new crunch to add to your game. Has anyone had a chance to check it out? What are your thoughts? Worth picking up?

I picked this up at my FLGS last night and had a chance to thumb through it before bed. I have to say I'm really impressed. The content is good and the production value is top notch. There are some interesting options for the "core" races, but I think the real draw is the wealth of unique races presented. Tengu, Catfolk, Kitsune, Dhamphir, Drow (sans two swords with names like frost or twinkle), Kobolds, Goblins, Sylph ... and the list goes on. Yes, other OGL books & supplements have included new player races before, but Paizo's latest book stands out. The races are presented in one book in an easy to read format with rules to create your own player races. This will definitely be replacing my dated copy of Savage Species by WotC as my source for unique player races. I highly recommend taking a look at it.

Got my subscription copy the other day, haven't had much of a chance to go over it, but at a glance it looks good. If I was running a Pathfinder game I would delve into it more deeply.
Cheers,

I have only "played" Pathfinder and this book to me looks real cool. I will add it to my meager player collection of Pathfinder books.

Got it on its PDF release date. I really, really like it. What I love most is the fact that you can really differentiate between members of the same race now. Want your elf to get bonuses for her living at sea? Want your half-orc to be more like an orc because they grew up away from human society? Is your halfling just not that athletic? Just replace a different trait that makes less sense for your character!
I also like that they have included new feats that aren't just attempting to do what 4e became, which was build up the power level. Many of these feats are social in nature. It's as if they want their PF players to actually...wait for it...roleplay!
I'm super super excited about the new race templates, too. I plan on using those to allow PCs to run monster races here in a game I'm going to be starting.
Highly impressed as always by Paizo!

Hmmm, this sounds pretty neat. Maybe I'll be making the long trek to my F-not-so-LGS this weekend to check it out!
