Figured we need a new one of these. List your favorite beers for the masses to search out.
Yuengling Larger - Only found on the East coast, but worth looking for
Alaskan Amber and Alaskan Summer Ale - Found in Alaska of course, also seen it in Washington and Oregon, not sure how much farther south it goes.
Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat - Fruity Pebbles, drink it and you'll understand
Abita Purple Haze - just a hint of sweet raspberry twang.

Warsteiner Verum - My favorite Pilsner. Everything American Beer thinks it's doing right and really isnt. Dunkel and Octoberfest and both very nice too.
Leinenkugel's - Especially enjoy the Honey Weiss and Summertime Shandy, because I'm not from Wisconsin dickhead!
Wychwood - Hobgoblin is my favorite ale, hands down. The Wychcraft and Scarecrow rule too
Stone Brewery - Love/Hate relationship with Arrogant Bastard. I've drank it three times, the first two I drank 2 liters and puked. Still, good enough I came back for a half pint the 3rd time with no ill effects.
If anyone visits the QC in Illinois/Iowa I recommend Bent Rivers Uncommon Stout (Coffee infused Oatmeal Stout) and Blue Cat Brew Pubs Red Toad (a hoppy red ale, get it?) and Big Bad Dog English Ale.
Honorable mentions: Old Rasputin, Boulevard (esp. Dry Stout), Hoegaarden, and anything by Goose Island (Matilda and Bourbon County as both excellent choices)

For general drinking I'm a fan of Sam Adams
Probably the beer I think about drinking the most at the moment is Stone Smoked Porter.

Nothing wrong with Sam Adams, and I remember my first Newcastle being good, and the next one I had was so skunky I couldn't ever touch one again.

I am not a huge beer drinker, but have been trying stuff out. I tend to have a sweet tooth so mostly go with ciders instead, although I have a taste for Guinness (and Black Velvet). Any suggestions to try?

As a Texan, I have a lot of Shiner Bock in my beer diet. I very much enjoyed Sierra Nevada's Tumbler while it was around, but I apparently bought my first 6 pack the day before it went off the shelves or something. I also have been known to drink Leinenkugel's (though I didn't much care for the Fireside Nut Brown,) Boddington's, Guiness Extra Stout, Sam Adams, and most anything else that doesn't include 'Light' in it's name.
Muertog, if you've got a sweet tooth, I'd suggest trying Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss or Sunset Wheat. In my experience, they're about as sweet as beer gets before crossing into the false territory of Smirnoff.

A couple that I have found good for people who are not big beer drinkers are Boddingtons and Old Speckled Hen. Both are British pub ales, smooth and mellow. They are both nitrogenated rather than carbonated so the texture is a little different but I like them.

I tried Boddingtons on the advice of the HJ's crew and liked it! It's mellow and creamy enough for my wife, who does not like beer. I thought it would be a good after dinner beer, maybe?
Anyway, most of my recent beer experimentation is based on brands and types I hear the HJ's cast mentioning. So, horay!
