Hey all, I haven't had much experience with remote gaming, but I want to get a game going. My main system is Pathfinder, but I have experience with New World of Darkness and DnD3.5. I'm interested to try Savage Worlds and Dark Heresy.
Normally I can't get a game with my friends unless I GM, so I I'd really like to be a player in this. I'd like to have an experienced remote GM, no offense to people who to give it a go, because I would like to learn from them how to run a remote game successfully.
I'm on the East Coast, and I'm available almost any time. Looking forward to hearing from anyone!

I've got a group that gathers on Skype/G+ Saturday nights around 8pm EST until whenever. We've been playing Savage Worlds one-shots lately, but are looking to start a campaign. Look me up: Skype - Houndinfritz G+ - plus.google.com/102007600268494960295/posts

I'd be pretty interested in joining you, but I don't know what to do. I looked at your link, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do from there. I don't really know how to use Google+. I have Skype and can add you.

I have had very little luck with Skype for gaming. Maybe it's my connection, but I have a lot of problems running dialog heavy scenes. The communication just doesn't cut it. I end up skipping dialog rather than trying to make myself heard.
I will be switching to g+ as soon as possible.

I have heard that Skype isn't nearly as good. I'd like to try Google+, but I really don't know how it all works. I barely even use Facebook except for planning band practice.
On the positive side of Skype, I use it pretty well daily to talk and game with my buddy in Vancouver. It works really well as a simple VOIP set up.

We've been using Google+ Hangouts for the past six months. We have also experimented with Skype to try speeding up the latency. With four people on Skype we noticed no difference between Skype or Hangouts in speech delay. We're back to Hangouts again.
