Monte Cook has a new game coming out, a sci-fi fantasy RPG. The artwork looks great for sure. The character creation sounds cool and simplified compared to D&D. www.numenera.com/I'm looking forward to checking it out.

That looks really spiffy. Seems like he is going with a very "story teller" approach to the game, which could allow it to be very flexible in how its played. You could run anything from a "Prometheus" type game, to a "Foundation" game. I'm interested to see if he will have low tech type stuff. From the description it seems very tech=magic. And he does call it a sci-fi/Fantasy. It kind of reminds me of this suffadv.wikidot.com/Which I own, and have been wanting to try.

I saw this a few days ago and got pretty excited. Monte Cook is a smart guy, and the setting looks really interesting. I like the fact that it seems like he's going for a more ease of play sort of feel.

Its already passed the first stretch goal. 3 goals -= 3 adventures and one of the goals gets 300 books to libraries. Its going to 400 pages already. I was thinking of waiting for the retail book but this is turning into a great value.

I want this. I want it so hard. I will love it and hold it and hug it and read it and maybe even manage to find a group for it.

Ok, now for $60 you get the 400 page core book and 3 32 page adventures. (I think in pdf) When it makes it to the next 2 strech goals it's a bestiary too. This is looking like a pretty cool deal.
