The Penny Arcade guys are famous for doing live games of 4E at PAX. From what I've read, WOTC has credited them with bringing in some players in the mid to late life of 4E, so they go out of their way to do stuff with them.
The most interesting thing for me is how Mike/Gabe is taking it. He's a 4th player that has never played any of the others... which means this is the first time his favorite version is getting knocked out of position for a shiny new one, different than his beloved version.

They have been granted an interview of the main 5E guy, and they are giving a pretty hard interview. It is interesting even if you have went over the new packets. For those not familiar with Penny Arcade, I'll give you a quick run down of the people in the interview and their D&D experience.
Jerry: The writer on Penny Arcade. He's a D&D veteran and has played many other versions, especially in his youth before Penny Arcade. Well versed in AD&D editions, a little bit in 3rd, and has played enough of 4th that he can DM. He could DM any edition he's played. He's the main guy you will hear asking questions, and its his character(the cleric) that they talk most about.
Mike: Mike is the artist of Penny Arcade. He's a 4th player and has never played any other kind of D&D. He's ran a pretty epic and cool campaign chronicled on their site, but is really into the boardgame aspect of playing. He's got some really great ideas, but most revolve around changing or altering the battle map into things like mini-planets. It is pretty obvious here that he does not like the idea of a new edition.
Scott: Scott has casually played the back editions of D&D. He's mainly there to goof off a bit when Jerry and Mike get too serious.
