So up front I have not yet run l5r but I can't get the idea that it would be good for running a game set in the world of Wheel of Time. I'm mostly looking for thoughts on that, would it work. Also some general advice on the quirks of the system would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

So my players captured one of my villain's main henchmen, then they took him to the villain's house and threw him in the dungeon; they think the villain is their ally not the mastermind behind the coup they are trying to prevent, as he is one of the PC's father. So now I'm thinking about having the henchman glamoured to look like a different NPC, who would then follow the party and try to steer them away from the villain's scent. I am looking for some advice on how to pull this off without becoming DM Dickhead. Oh, and I am running a homebrew steampunk fantasy game in the savage worlds system; moderately low magic (it exists but is highly regulated) with age of discovery era tech, airships, and automatons. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen any savage worlds conversions of bioware's dragon age. Specifically rules/ideas for Templar abilities. As I'm new to the system any direction would be helpful.

Hello all I go by towerwrath on the internets in the real world I'm Daniel from Idaho. I finally made it through the back log last week and thought I'd check out these much lauded forums… so uh; hi. I started with 3.5 and magic the gathering in high school and have been gaming as much as I can ever since. Largely thanks to jib's sturmgiest game I decided to change my home brewed Victorian fantasy setting to savage worlds. I ran our first session last Wednesday and I am experiencing a level of excitement for this hobby I haven't felt since I first started.
Anyway just thought I would introduce myself. Good day and good gaming. -towerwrath
