OK, so here is the idea...
my wife said "You never know. I want to look for some pretty blue dice" which means she would try gaming again...
I had this idea that if I actually drank, I would think I was drinking when I thought of it.
Sundered Skies - I've really wanted to run it. It reminds me of running a Star Wars smuggling campaign in D6 so long ago. Very sandbox type game with an overall story arc still there.
However, I really don't want to use the stock dwarves, elves, etc. I can change some habits and reskin them and my players would notice similarities but quickly get past that, so I don't need to worry about rewriting the races themselves.
It's just that I want to replace the races with...you see...anthropomorphic animals.
Replace the dwarves with moles, the elves with something like nazi jackrabbit types who breed squirrels, and the orcs up in the northern reaches with penguins, for example.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my wife loves penguins...
OK, how bad is this idea? Maybe the question would be how desperate?

Just don't mention the F* word and it'll be great - sort of Wind in the Willows meets the bastard love child of George Orwell and Jules Verne. * rhymes with purr (ies)
