On the old boards someone mentioned that you needed to read the first "X" number of Dresden fiction books before you open up the Dresden RPG to avoid spoilers.
Anyone remember what that number was?

The first ten. That would be through "Small Favor." I recently went through it, and that's definitely the point. In fact, they sort of designed it that way, specifically. Given there's only three more novels and a short story anthology, though, after that, you could just read them all. --Pukka Tukka

I'm only on Book 3 so I have a ways to go. I've been curbing my usual habit of reading 2-3 books at a time so I can actually finish books quicker.
I've been alternating between Dresden and the War of the Spider Queen series. I usually don't care for elven type fantasy, but I gotta admit the Spider Queen books are pretty awesome. In my D&D game we're working our group towards the City of the Spider Queen module so it's all good background. Got the first three of those knocked out.
After I finish book 3 of Dresden I've got a few Elmore Leonard books I want to knock out (Leonard's books zoom by cuz they are the awesome) then it's Spider Queen book #4, then Dresden 4. etc...

Book 3 is kind of "the end of the beginning" of the Dresden Files. It's went shit really starts happening.
