This is a GURPS Combat run through with John (aka GandalfThePlaid). He is part of a group of players that I will be running an adventure for in the future. The video is meant to educate players and GM's a bit about the flow and mechanics of combat within GURPS. GURPS has varied levels of combat and I cover the basics here. I hope you like it.

Dude nice! Totally dig it. Preach the Word I think the only rule I missed seeing was shock penalties - like, if you get hit for 3 points of damage you're at -3 on all roll the next turn, 8 points of damage you're at -4 on all rolls (the max), etc. Great stuff. There are some projects brewing in the G+ GURPS Community too. It's a good time to be a GURPS Lovah! Who am I kdding - It's always a good time to be a GURPS Lovah.

Your right I should have at least talked about the Shock rules. I don't really use them when the players are new to the system. I have always found that it was one more minus to the roll to think about. Now when they have been playing a while I will definitely give them a Shock!

Ditto.
While I like the shock rules, and think they make combat even more realistic (and short), with new players, they're kind of a buzz kill when it happens to them.
