Hey folks. After Dming for 22 hours during the convention, I was a little fried, but one of the fun things that I enjoyed was being a player, (for once) in a GURPS game. It was a steam-punkish game with victorian literary characters, pretty darn fun. Despite hearing from the Happy Jack's crew that GURPS was very 'crunchy' I felt it was really simple and easy to play. I enjoyed it. So I was now thinking about learning the system and maybe writing out an adventure/module for my supernatural-western comic that I write and draw : Pariah, Missouri. Then we play the comic, and all the players can get a free copy. I thought that would be very cool. www.kickstarter.com/projects/andresjsalazar/pariah-missouri-the-graphic-novelI possess a pdf of all the rules (I can't say how) and I just bought on Ebay the Characters basic set. What other rulebooks do i need to start setting up a game? Are there some western-specific sourcebooks? Thanks! If anyone is playing some GURPS in the Ventura county, or northern LA, let me know! thank Andy

For a supernatural western you could grab GURPS Horror and Old West. Horror will be easy to find it is for 4th Ed and written by Ken Hite. Old West can be found and for pretty cheap. It is for the older edition. Converting the Old West mechanics won't be hard. Besides you may just be using them both for fluff anyway.
