My comment to Shoe's email and to anyone struggling to find a larger quality group of gamers is to start right here and get involved in some HJ's members G+ games. I have a gaming group way up here in Alaska that meets every other week or so and its great! But through G+ games I've played L5R, Dungeon World, Monsterhearts, Paranoia. With Jackercon just 65 odd days away I hope to get to play many more systems with a group of people that are for the most part on the same page as I am about what makes RPG's fun. The future of RPG's is in the Intertubes... Cheers and thanks again for a Very Special Alone With Stu Episode. G+ is well and good, but I've played online, it's just not the same for me. Nothing in the internetiverse (Yeah I made up a word , wanna fight about it?) can possibly scratch the itch to game quite like sitting around face to face with friends (and sometimes new faces) and rolling dice and telling a great story. When I play on G+, I just plain old don't have as much fun. I've found a local 30 person con just north of my place that seems like it might be a good place to find people, but we shall see if it turns into anything ongoing. Thanks for playing my VM, and thanks for the advice d20 -Shoe

I really liked the effort and thought it was a nice solution to your hectic situation. I don't really know if I would have wished for to get one of me emails during one of this one man episodes, since the round talbe discussions is what's great with your podcast. But since you are doing such a splendid work with the normal podcast and pour so much of yourselves for us fans' sake, I think you definitely deserve to take a softer and more relaxed approach at times and just produce one man shows. I don't mind. :-) And Stu, don't say you don't have any feelings. Anger, lust and disappointment are feelings to, you know. Also Thirsty....I think Thanks for doing this to tide us over...between this episode and wading trhough season...3 i believe I'm on now, I've been trying to catch up. P.S.: THank god you have strayed a little farther away from D&D 4E, some old episodes have up to half content that only applies to 4E. Branching out to many systems is the BEST thing HJRPG ever did. Keep up the great work! -Shoe

If I didn't have my local game I would certainly make major efforts to create one even if its just me and the dog rolling dice. (Which reminds me I've got to get that Dogs Playing D&D print!) But I do hope you'll sign up for a game or two, or three! for Jackercon. It will be just a nice weekend to test drive a bunch of systems and meet some like minded gamers! Cheers.

I'm a little late on getting to the board to comment on this but I really liked this extra podcast.
No voices distract from the content of the email, no forced jokes ... and the thing I loved most, no tired "I hate hipster" comments.
EDIT: I'd love to have more of these episodes. Keep them coming Stu.
