On a recent podcast, you suggested you may sell a 30 second advertising spot at the beginning of some podcasts. I was wondering if you had any more details about that.

I'm thinking of an auction model. I'll put the starting bid at $50 for one episode. Though this might go up in the future if it takes off.
Ads can either be pre-recorded or I can record them. If they're prerecorded, I reserve the right to tweak the sound to make it consistent with the rest of the show (this usually means compression or limiting).
I would prefer if it took the form of "This episode of Happy Jacks RPG Podcast is sponsored by/brought to you by Brand X ... " since it's a pre-roll.
A link in the show notes would also be included of course.
All content is subject to my approval, and with the understanding that there is a clear line between editorial content and advertising content. This means that, for example, if WotC bought ad time, I wouldn't suddenly like the AC and HP attrition mechanics. Same goes for the rest of the hosts.
