This session won't be poster for a week and a half, but (no spoilers) it went in an entirely unexpected direction.

Did it involve you and CADave behind a fan :-D?!? He said entirely unexpected, not "super fanboy anticipated".

Martians? Nah. They're in pseudo-Japan, remember? My money's on Gojira, Mosura, Rodan, or some other skyscraper-sized kaiju beastie showing up.

Precisely why Martians are an unexpected turn. Maybe that are captured by Martians and escape to become Space Samurai! Traveling the cosmos as emissaries of their lords and bringers of the Bushido code to all they encounter.

I will go with Stu's prediction - that they all dishonour their houses, commit seppuku, and write poems.
In that order.

I took a stab at Dave's death poem.
Scorpion Clan woman Time has past for true love’s bloom Should’ve flirted with Stu

LOL. That's awesome hoseirrob! But I think there's one syllable too many in the first line. 5/7/5 and all. I think the first line should be something like,
Scorpion Clan chick,
Scorpion Clan babe,
河豚川さん (Fugugawa-san), or
せソリ女 (sesori onna),

He may have been mentally pronouncing "scorpion" with two syllables. However, I like the substitution of "Fugugawa-san"; it adds a certain elegance to the overall effect.
(And seriously, Dave, I echo hyvemynd's earlier post: just man up and flirt if it's what your character would do! Shut your eyes if you have to, and pretend it's not Stu! Or maybe Stu could get a picture on a stick to hold up in front of his face, if that would help...)
