Or NoCal where game seats are issued by lottery for a lot of the cons. (In NoCal, you don't get game, game gets you.) Or where 'The Donut' is used. (Players form a large circle around the smaller circle of GMs pitching their game. Then, when the facilitator says 'go', you race to be noticed by the GM whose game you'd like to play. Actually, now that I think of it, that's sort of bananas & awesome at the same time.) Wha--? Yeah, uh, don't think I'll be hitting any cons using the "Stock Exchange Floor" method of player-pairing. That shit sounds crazy.

Or does it? Hints of gladiatorial combat mashed-up with playground shit + nerds = recipe for awesome. (But getting a game by lottery, no thank you.)

I dunno. Asking a bunch of (mostly) fat beards to engage in combat can only end in whiny tragedy.

Gah! Too many good games posted already in the Sat/Sun 9am slots ... I think I may try running Friday 2pm-6pm and Monday 9am-1pm -- essentially, the first and last slots of the con. I *think* that'll work! EDIT: And, done - we'll see how things work out.

Yup. I'll spend a lot of time with a damaged hard drive before I'll remake six GURPS characters.

I am now terrified about how it's done at game conventions here in Texas...
Although, I hope it's shooting Lone Star cans off a fence post.

Yup. I'll spend a lot of time with a damaged hard drive before I'll remake six GURPS characters. If it's really bad, I have some utilities to help get data off. They can take a long time to run depending on the damage though.

I (FINALLY) came up with an idea and registered my game!!
Title: Kimi's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry System: Wild Talents Genre: Witches and Wizards... duh. GM: Kimi... duh.
Description: The students at a well-known boarding school for young wizards and witches must face unknown dangers when their school is in peril. Will their unpredictable spells and powers help them save the day, or make it worse?
No time slot yet, but I'm hoping for something Saturday. We shall see.
