I started a lunchtime RPG group at work, and the first session was today.
I'm running a hybrid Savage Worlds/Dragon Warriors game for two experienced players so far. The small group size and their experience (one is running a Fantasy Hero game, the other is a D&D veteran) enables me to keep the game cracking along at a fair old pace, and I think we had a good first session.
The party is investigating the disappearance of a local lord. One of the players is the scion from the nobility of a neighbouring nation, and is friendly with this lord (he's their main trading partner), hence the investigation. So far, the party has rescued a peasant from some wild dogs, delivered a midwife to the missing lord's spouse (she's about to give birth to his heir) and fought a battle while climbing a cliff in the rain while following the missing lord' trail. Oh, and did I mention that a white spirit has been seen haunting the woods recently, and local legend states that whenever it appears, an infant child goes missing!
Roll on next week.....

ditto.
I used to have an after work gaming group. We'd play for about 90 minutes 2-3 nights a week. Good times.

I used to run a lunch time session over google wave. We have now moved on to google Christ and added a player which moved the session to after work. But still cramming a session into an hour is actually a pretty fun time. Although Since my players have the memory of whatever is opposite of an elephant (single celled organism perhaps?) We pretty much have a very simple, do this job in an hour and your done, style of gaming. No big overarching plots, ect (because they won't remember it next week )

The only issue is scheduling. All of us work in different departments, so getting around meetings can be challenging!

For me it's my Mac. It's too old. I got the last G5 before they went to the Intel machines. Hangouts requires an Intel Mac. I'm not buying a new comp until this one dies... plus they are expensive. It works great, I have only had to replace the CD/DVD drive. So, I am out of luck for Hangouts until then. Or if my phone dies and I get a new one with 2 cameras...

Could you sit in front of a mirror with your iPhone.
I hear you about the price of Macs.
The iMac I use to record was a grip.
Meanwhile, I'm looking to get a replacement for my Windows PC, and it'll cost maybe $300.

Fray, I feel your pain on being the proud owner of an outdate, obselete, PowerPC-based Mac.
I'm still running on a dual-proc G4 tower.

Okay. Maybe it is because I work for a huge faceless conglomerate computer manufacturer, but I can get a brand new computer for the 200-300 range.
Slickdeals.net is your friend if you are looking for a good price on computers and you want rock-bottom deals.
And yes, you can run Mac OSX on a standard clone computer, as long as it meets some minimal requirements.
