Now that I have the new space concerns generally addressed, it's time for me to move on to phase two of my plan to bring some new concepts into RPG's at Strategicon.

As I mentioned earlier I have two big ideas that I want to bring into the con. First, is the RPG Library. This is planned for implementation in May at Gamex. The concept is very similar to our Boardgames Library. My plan is to have as many RPG base rulebooks available as I can and expanding my scope as time goes by. The concept is to provide players with the ability to borrow and read through as many game systems as possible to encourage greater variety. I want to focus on indie games as well as providing access to the basics. I have gotten some support from the Monstore in Montclair and they have donated some good stuff, but I am still looking for more indie games. I will be printing out a bunch of stuff that is available free online as well and will update this list as I get those done.

I may be able to scrounge up the Basic Set hardcovers by May as well.

Some of Jim Pinto's games have been running there recently by himself or friends/fans, such as George's Children at Orccon 2014. Having one or more of those would be a cool example of super-indie systems. Would be awesome to have Dread, Fiasco, Dungeon Crawl Classics, *World games, etc., but of course I just got the one copy for myself, and am not ready to hand it over :-) Those would be the types of things I'd have loved to see there before I went and purchased them.

tomes list is pretty good. Dread, Fiasco, DCC, Dungeon World and Apocalypse World are good ones. Things like Lady Blackbird or anything by One Seven are good examples. Games like 13th Age would be at the top end of and "indie" type game with a nice color published hardcover. For the most part, these games are available via PDF which means a lot of printing for me. I would love to have things like Achtung! Cthulhu in there too. Just about anything small press that does not have a major company like Wizards of the Coast or Privateer Press can be considered indie as well as any games that were kickstartered or crowdfunded in general. Hell, a copy of any of the iterations of Traveller would be great.
