Anyone know of a way to do it? I couldn't find much on the web, but I remember some people posted mp3s of their games last time round.

The way I've done it in the past is to record the hangout video using the On Air option, download the YouTube video and then import it into audacity in order to extract the audio.

Thanks. I might soon be in a Kimi-like situation, so I don't like Google's "real names on youtube" drive. I probably won't leave the video up, but downloading and extracting and then deleting sounds like an option.

Once the video has processed you can change the privacy setting of any video to make it private or only viewable to people you give the direct link to. Alternatively there's always the option of just putting a fake but real sounding name on your account.

I used 'open broadcaster' for jackercon 1 it records all or part of your desktop locally.
I wanted to get the roll20 in the video so it worked in that regard. Big file though since I was doing video, but I think it can do audio only.
