They've run into a bit of a pickle; they can't fit all the monsters they want into 320 pages. So they've elected to increase the books page count by 32 pages. The catch is a price increase of $0. Not a typo, that is 32 extra pages for $0. www.wizards.com/dnd/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4ll/20140714Now to be fair, it could be argued that pre-orders limit their ability to really increase the price at this point. Even if it wouldn't technically be something of a bait and switch, it would still be a mess, and cause bad press. However being willing to eat the loss of profit margin on each copy, is a pretty decent move on their part.

And a 32 page increase in your page count isn't cheap... I've seen major publishers quibble over a page or two...
