I would play in a Spelljammer game so fast. There is so much love out there for this setting . . . Yet it ticks away idly gathering dust in the WoTC/Hasbro vault like a certain Ark of Covenant. Aaron

I was never into Spelljammer, but I'm a little surprised it hasn't gotten any love in their pdf releases of old stuff.

I started reading through the boxed set book last night. It is very much a product of its time. Lots of (to me) pointless rules about ship movement, tonnage, celestial bodies, etc. Feels like they were trying to simulate what being an Elf aboard a space faring galleon flying through the "ether" between the Crystal Spheres would feel like.

Still don't know what my November schedule will be like, but I'm thinking of a "sexy teens in space" game too. After all, in space no one can hear you scream. Regardless of why you're screaming. Heh.

And thus the ellipses...no one can hear you (scream, shoot, run, tap dance, pontificate, roll dice, and of course as THE 'chunda from down 'unda said FART).

Son of a bitch. That week I'm pulling triple shifts everyday. The 4th-8th I'm on one giant shift and on call the entire month of November.
Kick its ass and game your faces off everybody.

Space horror, huh?
Hmmm...
I have a space comedy variant of Lady Blackbird I put together a while back, though it's not particularly horrific. Still, there are a few other possibilities...
(puts on thinking cap)

I was never into Spelljammer, but I'm a little surprised it hasn't gotten any love in their pdf releases of old stuff. I just bought this. off drivethru - it's pretty sweet. I have the physical box set (from back in the day), so I haven't re-bought it digitally. This book has about 17 adventure setups and 9 deck plans. Maybe I should give one a FATE (via Atomic Robo) treatment. "You are on the crew of a ship with letters of Marquee to hunt pirates." I could set up Race modes and Class modes and... (well, now I know where my free time went)
