I'm still reading through the Basic Set Campaigns book (actually I haven't really started yet) but I have a question about calculating Dmg. Whenever something adds or subtracts dmg outside of your base dmg (2d-1 or 1d+3 for example), when do you add that dmg? For example, a "fine" quality weapon adds +1 to cutting and impaling dmg (BS pg. 274). I'm guessing it just gets added right away, before any DR, armor divisors or dmg multipliers get taken into account correct? It's very possible I read the answer but just don't remember where I read it.
So, if my attack deals 1d+3 dmg normally, it will then become 1d+4 dmg if I'm using a fine quality blade correct?
As always, thanks for the help!

Correct. If you have a weapon that gives +1 to damage, add 1 to the damage roll. Don't add it to the penetrating damage, or to the injury, just add it to the damage. So yeah, 2d+1 with a +1 becomes 2d+2.
FYI the optional rule in the section on weapon damage (B267-268) says that if you get up to a +4, you can decide to turn it into another die of damage, e.g. 1d+4 => 2d, or 2d+7 => 4d.

That's correct. Right away. DR, Armor Divisor and such, are accounted for after that.
