Just letting (reminding) the community know that Jackercon VI runs from March 13-March 21 and the G+ community page is found here: Jackercon VI: And So This Is Drizztmas! My Star Trek Wars game using Edge of the Empire rules is full. Aaaaaand thats the only game currently being offered . So if you haven't participated before please consider giving it a try, its been a great way to get to game with some of the lovely individuals (who are more machine than man, twisted and evil) of this here community. Celebrate Drizztmas, Friday 13th, St. Patricks Day, and the Ides of March in the best way possible...being a total fucking douchebag. Cheers, D.T. Pints (Mrs.) aka Curt.

With ELEVEN DAYS to go until the start of Jackercon VI I again offer anyone mildly interested in giving online gaming a try..to err...give it a TRY! There was a point where I started to believe this thing would take on a life of itself and just the energy of all of these creative gamers would keep a nice THREE times a year gathering going. But...it would seem that we are not quite there yet. Perhaps its the seven day stretch that totally defeats any sense of urgency into actually getting a game going? A very much "Oh I'll get around to it EVENTUALLY..." mentality ? Anyway, I do hope to see some more games being offered. Run something you know, run something silly, serious, simple. All the fiddly bits of Roll20 are great but they are just that. The real essence of a good game is what it always has been good players and a creative GM. I just played with my old Indiana gaming group last night in our now going into three year pathfinder game. It never ceases to amaze me that I can be in Alaska with they same douchebags still back in 'rust belt' talking in the same silly voices and giggling like school girls. What an amazing modern age in which we live. Cheers, Curt. (D.T. Pints (Mrs.))

I can do Monday, probably. I'm on US West Coast time. Never played Strontium Dogs and don't really know the fluff, any suggestions for catching up on that?

Never fear we can make the process relatively painless...

Do I need Roll20 or a camera? No. A camera is a help, in that being able to see who you're talking to is nice, but there is usually at least one player in my biweekly game that keeps the camera off - even if only to save bandwidth. Roll 20 would only be needed for a game set up specifically on that platform. I like it, but we just use a dice roller app (and some of my players don't even do that). You can just think of it like gaming via telephone if you wish. (Shout out to my DFRPG players)

I've been thinking about how come we have had so few games. Could it be that the nice colourful overview on a snazzy website is missing? If you have a date to sign up for your game, you have a target to hype for, and then a period of talking about the games that have been posted and hype about those?
I know this once more veers into the "more organization" territory, but I wonder if Jackercon after the first few times just have become a little "un-precise", i.e. fewer people know it's on and what's provided?

One thing in line with what I just said. Have there been a Event posted with the dates for the latest JackerCon? There used to be for the former ones.
