I suggested this to Tim: buy a crate or two of Count Orlok masks before Halloween, and scatter them all over the damn island - culverts, drainage ditches, trash cans, etc. Plant the seed of doubt. A couple dozen of these around the island will start screwing with the cops' heads.

By the by, Stu, if you get a chance - Damnation City, even though it's for Requiem, has some good source material for city stuff. There's even a short section on cell phones and how they impact Vampire society.

Hey Stu - can't wait for the next installment of Mote. If you're looking to add in more paranoia-inspiring twists, may I present this possibility? Eminence of Shade / Conquering BloodGiven that the Disciplines needed for this power are the province of the Lasombra and Tzimisce, you'd probably see it only with Sabbat infiltrators. This could, in turn, prompt the need for an occult expert, probably a Tremere, Mage, or a Lasombra or Tzimisce antitribu, to help brief the Mote on this obscure power. But all mortals are fair game for impersonation, and for a powerful enough Lasombra, so are vampires. Have fun.

stu, I wonder about the new gangrel. Stork is a very good, and experienced role player, but the ones aren't. I kind of feel the new gangrel, sorry I can't remember her name, is slipping a bit too far into the loner role. It does not work in a rpg setting, with a group of PCs. I wonder if she is one of the rpg newbies? Albert was a loner, but he was active and did things. I kind of feel both the new two players are more passive, and that does not work well with a loner archetype. Am I the only one getting hanged up on this?

I would have to say I agree. That being said, Albert dying because Asa didn't stick with the group might make the impression she needs and bring the party together further. It's just a question of how the players have their characters react. And with a place as paranoid as the Mote can be, there's bound to be steeper resistance to inclusion when new vampires appear in the area.

Yes...Mac is definitely not a team player. Hopefully it's just going to be a brief character-defining thing where she learns to trust and respect the team, but right now it's more of a "well, we'll help you and keep you here because you're a PC, otherwise we'd say piss off."

Nope, I'm not. Word is he only took seven health levels... so he is incapacitated, but not dead yet.

He had the opportunity to heal.
I'll double check on the audio when I get a chance, but both Stork and I remember him being down 3agg when the werewolf attacked, which would make exactly seven. If we say he's at four in the recording, I'll add that notch to my GMing belt.

Works for me, gm uber alles as always.
Gonna relisten just to quell the nagging in the back of my mind, and I do recall the heal opportunity, which I thought brought him back to 4... eh, Albert not dead is a good thing, although now we need a retcon of the 'pile of dust/bones' and Skully dancing.

I believe he had the opportunity to heal one in the previous session as well. I do remember him getting 5 agg from the first werewolf attack. But I believe he had two opportunities to heal.

Finally done, and yes, I can confirm that Dear old Pornstache would have ended up at 7 agg at the end of the Garou encounter, aka 'Riley goes puppy shopping'.

Seven agg doesn't kill you though, I don't think. You cross off Incapacitated at 7... and you need to take one more to kill you dead. Until then you're just mostly dead.
