So now Paradox Studios owns White Wolf. I wonder how this will pan out for Onyx Path...
(Amusing byproduct: Paradox owns Mage.)

Hope they made who's in charge of Kickstarter fulfillment clear. 'Cause they have a lot of stuff hanging around out there not yet fulfilled.
(note: I did not back any WW kickstarters. (shocked aren't you? I know I am.))

WW doesn't actually do any kickstarters right now. All the tabletop RPG stuff is being created by licensee Onyx Path now.
The only delinquent kickstarter they've got that I know of is Exalted 3rd Ed.

I was primarily referring to stretch goal delivery. I was (and still am) of the opinion that their delivery on kickstarters was pretty good. And that quite a bit of stretch goal material was still in the pipeline.

I knew a guy who was coding for the mmorpg they had planned - sounds like it was a disorganised cluster fuck before he was made redundant and project shelved. Aaron

Wow, the forums over at rpg.net are pretty doom-and-gloom over this.

Wow, the forums over at rpg.net are pretty doom-and-gloom over this. People are pretty afraid of change in general, but especially in something that's been a staple since the late 80s, and has recently been revitalized on a cycle of nostalgic rereleases. That shit runs deep.

I saw a post over at Onyx Path, and while the deal between CCP and Paradox was black-boxed, they seem pretty optimistic about working with Paradox.

It's Paradox's line about "One World of Darkness" and a single metaplot that has me going "hmm".

ehhh… while having a Metaplot can help guide stories and provides a world that you don't have to build, it's best as a light touch imo. Too heavy and it might as well be an Organized Play set up.
Also, One metaplot for ALL the WoD lines? That's asking for trouble. (I'm off put when I see Storytellers running games with vampires AND werewolves AND mages AND the rest of them. It's like DnD 3/3.5 with the all of the splat books)
