(Cue voice of comic book guy from Simpsons)
M-16 rifles use 5.56 NATO ammunition (.223 cal), 7.62 NATO Ammunition is .308 cal and commonly used in sniper rifles like the M1A and M14.
(voice off)
Either way, enough holes of either caliber should be sufficient.

Also, my next email should be "Dear Happy Jacks, how do you make Macaroni and Cheese? When will my players know when to put the thing into the other thing?"

Depends on how you run it. You could justify spending a blood point for an erection/lube though. Or just apply "Hand-Wavium" for the scene. Just be careful if your scene last longer than eight hours.

Vampire sex is gross. I don't mean that the concept is icky, I mean that the only fluid vampires have in their body is vitae. So when they, eh, you know, it looks surprisingly like the cover of Metallica's "LOAD". Google "Metallica Load" if you don't know the reference.
Quoth the most vampy book of vamp, Vampire: the Masquerade, 20th Anniversary Edition:

In Requiem you can (and have to if you want to) spend a blood point to "revitalize" or "power up" any bodily system. Digestion, sex, etc.; any bodily process a magical corpse can't naturally do (it's assumed automatic that the blood in the system keeps the muscles and things functioning). So generally, if a vampire and a human are getting down to it, you'd need to spend blood to warm the body to a human temperature and to make the bits and pieces perform as expected. But yeah, no other fluids in the body, just blood.

There's a HUGE opening here for an ex-wife joke, but I swear, I'm not going to say it.

I was a little surprised that the Witch visit didn't yield much reveal to the story. Or did I not catch something that was significant in that interaction?

The witch was scary. When she answered the door with, "Oh, you're here, so is this it? The big battle? Tonight?" Thkully nearly shat himself. Knowing that the book was well away from the island and that he, er, I mean, the silly Ventrue was in the clear for putting it on the internet was all sorts of OK with him.

I don't even want to know how much blood that would have taken.
