Hello RPGers,
After having celebrated the new year it's now time for Orccon 2016 starting February 12th! Crazy how time flies. I am looking forward to seeing what you douchebags come up with this year. Once again we are shuffling some stuff around space wise, but it shouldn't affect us too drastically. Our HQ will be in the same place and the general process should be about the same.
Biggest difference for everyone here is that there will no longer have full online pre-registration for Happy Jacks or any other games. After tracking attendance we have the same group of people filling all of these games. In deference to the rest of the community that may not be as plugged in (or ever even played in a HJRPG game) we have decided to leave 50% of the sign ups open for registration at Orccon as per our usual policy. I expect that this will cause a lot more traffic for those binders Friday at noon and we will be ready. It will be similar to last time, but just to go over the rules to make sure a general mob doesn't roll over my staff.
1) Binders will be out at 12:00 PM SHARP.
2) At 11:30 not before I will be handing out number tickets to those who come by early. They will be let in to sign up first once the binders come out at noon. There will be a LIMITED NUMBER of tickets available at 11:30. Once they are gone, they are gone. This is strictly first come first serve and it will be ONE TICKET per individual. No sending one person to get 10 tickets.
3) We will start forming a line after the tickets are gone.
4) I will call the numbers in order. If you are not there to hear your number called after my second attempt I will move on to the next number.
5) Once the numbers are gone, we will start pulling from the line where we will let people in TWO at a time.
6) Once the line is cleared I will move the binders outside the HQ as per usual.
