So I've spent the last few weeks adapting Traveller into the Mass Effect setting. A lot of great information came from jacobkosh from the Destination Zero blog, as well as MalaDicta from the rpg.net forums (you guys rock). I still have some work to do, and any insight would be super helpful. I'll attach the .pdf's of what I've put together and transcribed as I go. Also, big thanks to Tensen01 over on DeviantArt, maker of the Mass Effect character sheet for the Cipher System RPG, who has so courteously allowed me to reconstruct it to work as a form-fillable Traveller character sheet. UPDATE: I've created the stats for the Hanar, the Vorcha, and the Elcor, as well as updated the attached Species .pdf with a more detailed and expanded version. I've also done some editing and typo-correcting. Excuse the poor dpi of the images in the .pdfs, they had to be compressed to adhere to the 1mb attachment limit.

I LOVE Mass Effect. I cant wait to see how this translates to Traveller. As to the Geth, I think you can transfer over stats and powers from the Robot book. Here is a link with a preview. The combat Robot on the second page would make a great base model Geth. Robot Book 9

I really like it! I was trying to do this a while ago, but never got around to it. I only have some minor issues with it and a suggestion or two. My biggest issue is the M-98 Widow should be the highest damage sniper, not the lowest. There was also, for me at least a section of garbled text on page 4 of the conversion rule where it is talking about ammo, But I don't know if that is just me.
My suggestion is to provide a light, medium(base), and heavy template to armor. Perhaps to save time, just provide simple conversion rules to convert your favorite armor to a lighter or heavier equivalent. I would think that for lighter it is -1 reduction, either un-modded or perhaps +1 shields, -(10-20%) weight, and either reduced cost or leave cost unchanged (perhaps depending on whether the shields are bumped). I would probably choose to not up shields as there are mods for that. For Heavy, reduction and shields are increased by 1, and weight and cost are increased by 20%.
Hope this helps!
