Working on it, I'm honestly scared to hit the dice roller Then my job here is done. Seriously though, you're not gonna die. The worst that can happen is you look like a chump in front of the whole class. Which, for a teenager, might be worse than dying...

True. It could have been. But if it makes you feel any better, the result would have been the same. And you at least got an XP out of it, too. Looks like Cordelia and Tethys aren't as tight as he thought they were though.

Do you not get xp in MH for rolling less than 6?
And no worries, he doesn't catch on all that fast. Humans are confusing. It should give him a good chance to sit in the sun and ponder (or gaze as the case may be.)

It should give him a good chance to sit in the sun and ponder (or gaze as the case may be.) Nope. You get it the first time you roll a highlighted stat in a scene, whether you hit or miss. So in a given scene, you can get 2 xp total from dice rolls. You can get more xp from other things, like strings and playbook moves.

I'm actually fond of it, it did well for me. That said, HyveMynd, did you know that you can configure the dice roller at a game level so that it only allows certain choices? In one of my RPOL games - a V:tM game - I configured the dice roller specifically to allow only d10s, so that all the user had to do was set how many to roll and why. Something you might want to look at.

Yeah. It's exactly what joecrak said; you earn 1 point of XP the first time you roll using a highlighted stat each scene regardless of what the results are. Whenever I, as MC, highlight a character's crappy stat, that's me saying "I want to see your character probably fail at something and cause all kinds of drama in the process. You'll at least get an XP out of it." Thanks for the tip about the dice roller, Probie Tim. I'll go look into that. I'm also totally cool with people actually rolling real dice if they want to. You people are all cool and I trust you to be honest. Oh, you and I are going to have a chat, and we'll see how that goes... I believe the correct term is, *ahem* bring it. Ooooohhhhh snap! Teenage monster fight!

That sounds like one way to do it Probie Tim. Tomas also has the Hypnotic move, but you can only hypnotize people with no Strings on him. If only there were a way to knock Strings off people...
