How do you people think that a one-punch-man-rpg would be to play/GM?
What I am thinking about is either a game where the players are "sidekicks" to a massively overpowered hero, (mumen rider etc.) that the GM plays.
This game could give GM's an outlet for their GMPC fix and a good way of ending sessions if you have limited time.
The other thought I had was that the players each play a overpowered hero and the focus of the game is the non hero part of the characters life.
This can let players go wild when creating a character and not have ANY limits.
This is just a thought that has started taken form and I would like some input for other people that know what I am talking about.

I think your ideas would work really well for a Onepunch Man RPG. And it sounds like it could be a lot of fun, and really easy to build!
I especially like your idea of them starting out as sidekicks, allows them to start with street level (D/F-List) crimes and move up to bigger fish (A/B) as they progress. Plus then the character gets to go through those non-hero conflicts (rookie crushing/popularity polls/paying rent/stalker fans)while still trying to not die.
I would be careful with GMPCs, since they tend to steal spotlight whether intended or not. You could just make them largely marginal to the plot though, if they are really negligent heroes (Looking at you Inspector Gadget). That way you can still have the GMs get their fix while still allowing the PCs to maintain their autonomy. (maybe whoever GMs gets their Super GMPC to take all the credit for whatever the team does?)
If your group is OK with the Fate system, I would highly recommend Venture City expansion. Its an expansion to the basic Fate system with the base powers available on the online open rules. It has a basic power setup, but you can up the power limit for your players however you want.
And the The material in the book helps paint ideas for a distopic word like in Onepunch Man with very little tweaking. Just replace Corporations for the Hero Association and you pretty much there.
If your group ends up rolling with a OPRPG I'd love to hear what system/mechanics you end up rolling with!

That world has an entire hero association with a complicated hero ranking system so it would work fine IMO even if the ACTUAL One Punch Man never comes into play.
And you would do it in HERO of course!!

It would work in BESM as well. My friend is actually starting to prep a game set in the OPM world, but where OPM is out of the picture because he is locked forever in a three-way, inter-dimensional fight with Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro. We are starting out as A-ranked heroes, but I have a feeling we will be going up against huge monsters quite soon after starting.

I am thinking about savage rifts as a system. Then I have an excuse for buying the game.

Okey, I think I will be boring and use my own system and incorporate the hero exam into the character sheet.
But I need a few questions for the exam.
If you have any ideas please send them my way.
I will publish the character sheet here when it is done and if anyone is interested maby I can run a one-shot online for jackers.

Hero Association Application.odt (19.95 KB) Here is a modded application/written test I drafted. It's in odt format so let me know if that doesn't open for you. Hope it helps!
