Funny idea Guido, but might be kind of limiting for what can be submitted. And I will try to include my own entry into this but wedding/Honey Moon may slow me down enough in the coming weeks that I can't promise my participation. WHAT?!?!?! You think getting married frees you from your gaming obligations? Priorities man priorities ... Heh heh heh ... I kid ... Seriously congrats. JiB I also must offer congrats. Good luck to you both!

I have a rough draft finished. I'll polish it up and see about getting it formatted nicely.

I was just wondering about how this thing was going to be laid out on my way to work today. Seems like I'm a bit late, as clanhanna's claimed that position. I'm glad to team up or offer my assistance though, if you need it. I'm a graphic designer/layout guy by trade, and am constantly noodling (thanks for that word, Stu) with character sheets and other RPG materials in my spare time. Plus, I'm anal retentive, so it'll bug me to no end if all the entries for the project all look different. In other words, I'm happy to be someones layout bitch, if the position is available.

Hyve just a suggestion, you might want to be careful about making an offer like that in this group. Might have unintended consequences. JiB

I want to give this a whirl, but Stu's layout is pretty nifty and I have no idea how to do that. Is something I can figure out in word? or photoshop?
Is there a basic layout tutorial?
Googling layout is not helpful.
I notice Hvyemind offered to help, but I'm sure they basics are easy enough once I learn where they are.

What Stu did with his layout is actually pretty straightforward, and easily replicated in most word processing software. Which leads me to the question, what are you using to write the text? Cheers, JiB

I just did it in Open Office Writer (which is a free program) using the 2-column layout. Easy peasy. I could make a template file, if anyone needs it...

Attached is an Open Office Writer Template. You're making this too hard for us not to do after we said we would! Thanks.

I've been lurking for a bit, but now I have a question so now I'm not lurking anymore. The rules require being released under CC Attribution Non-Commercial No Derivatives, but will you accept a more permissive license? I'm specifically thinking of a share-alike license. If someone wanted to do something like create a sequel to my 2page, I would be completely fine with that and I'd want the license to reflect that.

It is probably much simpler to keep all the works in the project under one license.

Somewhat simpler, maybe. It would not affect what they've proposed to do, though. Either way.
2nd question: I'd like to suggest Survival and/or Suspense as tags for the submissions. What say you?

You can add other tags if the ones I came up with genuinely don't fit.
If at all possible shoehorn the tags I have.

I had added "Adults Only" to the top of my 2nd entry, but then figured that probably goes without saying for a Happy Jacks contest.
