Dramatis Personae:
Aendir Meliamne, Half-Elven Paladin of Lothian: The son of Lothianite parents, he is secretly a member of the Conciliators, a holy order that was once long ago responsible for that world's version of the Inquisition. They now fight to eradicate Chaositech. Aendir and Nethwen have been friends since childhood.
Chesh Briarthorn, Halfling Cleric of Teun (Mother of Machines): This technophile priestess of Teun, Mother of Machines, has been friends with Mos her entire life. This gun-toting cleric trades frequent (and hilarious) verbal jabs with her old friend.
Mosquilius Kito (a.k.a., Mosquito, or just Mos): Halfling Warlock: This wisecracking little con artist has managed to get himself into (and out of) loads of trouble. He became a warlock totally just to save his own ass, and he's not even entirely sure which Fey Lord (or Lady) he serves!
Thorzin Oakwood, Dwarven Fighter: This impatient and headstrong dwarven gunslinger hails from Kaled Del, a dwarven citadel far beneath the streets of Ptolus.
Yona Note, Shoal Elven Rogue: The elven rogue moved to Ptolus from her smalltown home in search of adventure. Well, the fact that her parents kicked her out for getting arrested again might have had something to do with it, too. She's done time in the pokey with Mos, and she framed her ex-boyfriend for a heist she committed. He's still in the Prison for it.
Nethwen Nagel, Half-Elven Ranger: A member of the noble House Nagel, she's been through a lot already. Not only has her father disowned her for running away from an arranged marriage to a stronger noble house, but the elderly patron of her own family was framed and thrown into the Prison for a crime he didn't commit. She's on a mission to either free him outright, or raise enough gold to pay the ransom/bribe for his freedom.
Kemnebi, Nethwen's Panther Companion: Rowr, bitches.
