Hey all,
So I found out I'm going to be right down the street at a swing dance convention during Gateway! So I might be able to sneak away for a game or 2. Who's running games this year and do you have a idea what day and times they will be?

I have not signed up for it yet, but I *think* I will be running a Dragonlance game using a D&D 5E "lite" that I'm working on. I think.

I haven't set up anything yet, but GUARANTEED there will be some games on demand. When you free? If it's on Saturday, you could always swing by and get some GoD action if the sign up stuff doesn't work out.
Most likely for this cons Saturday I'm envisioning the following GoD slots:
9am-1pm 2pm-6pm 10pm-2am SUPER LATE NIGHT SLOT WHICH ALSO ALLOWS TOMER TO GO CHECK OUT THE HJ PODCAST FOR ONCE! (Well, twice, but who's counting)

I haven't submitted anything yet, but I'm running a Savage Worlds Superhero Game and a Reverse Murder Mystery game in an unknown system. Possibly GURPS, Shadowrun, or D&D5e. It's pretty roleplay heavy and system doesn't really matter. The superhero game is pretty silly and slapstick. The first session I ran involved Turbowerewolves who were Nazis from the Moon stealing space crystals. The second involved a thwarting the ELEMENTS OF DESTRUCTION from enacting a diabolical plan to make it rain a lot. This session will involve the League of Good Doing traveling outside of Cityopolis and to Gorilla Island to put an end to Doctor Gorilla and the Boomerangatang's terror once and for all. The second is a closed door murder mystery with a twist. High political motivations Potential for backstabbing. It's a scenario I've been sitting on for my home game for a couple months now until we're at a stopping point from Strahd. It's something I'm pretty proud of and can't wait to polish up for the con. tomes and gina have finally dragged me out to California.

It's still about 5 weeks to early to have a clue *what* I'm running (other than, "It's GURPS: Something"), but it will almost definitely be Friday afternoon, Sunday morning or afternoon, and Monday morning.

tomes and gina have finally dragged me out to California. OK, first off those ideas sound dope. And YAY to another "foreigner" coming to our shores. Second, keep Saturday 8pm free for the podcast if you can ( stu: I'm assuming no changes to the podcast reguarly scheduled time for Gateway 2017?). That said, there are always some good games during that time. My solution is throwing a Games on Demand for 10pm so I can get a bit of both worlds, cause I love me the late Saturday night gaming.

Of course I meant Saturday 8pm. I mean, that's what's in my original message, right? (quoted evidence to the contrary... alt quotes!)

I'll probably run a followup to my Star Wars Traveller Game titled "Ewokin' After Midnight." Not sure what time though.

Because make sure you get a room as quickly as you can. They sell out and will add more room blocks but they get more and more expensive.

Actually staying at the hotel is a bit out of my budget at the moment. Got a cheap Airbnb a hours walk away from the hotel. I was planning on borrowing a bike from someone, but that plan seems to have fallen though. I'd love to find one cheap, but cheap rentals are going for the price of renting a car. I might just hoof it. Thusfar I don't have a place to stay Thursday and Monday nights, but I might just slum it.

I'll definitely be running SOMETHING, but I've promised myself to hold the hell back so I can actually play and socialize with Happy Jackers for a change.

I haven't submitted anything yet, but I'm planning on running an Iron Kingdoms game. I'm also trying to talk my wife into running another Muppets and Madness game.

I hope someone runs Tales from the Loop. I need to try out that game.
