I didn't realize the Swede's were such an angry folk.
Looks like a dish I could have my 6-year old help with and end up with a cleaner kitchen than these guys. ;D

Looks like a dish I could have my 6-year old help with and end up with a cleaner kitchen than these guys. ;D It's really easy to make and all kids like it. I couldn't find a normal recepie video ;-) It's something like this: One egg and one dl flour for every 2 dl milk and a pinch of salt. Mix and let rest for at least 30 min, the batter should be loose like un whipped cream. Use a hot pan (preferably cast iron) with butter/margarine. Add roughly 1/2 cup of batter and tillt the pan so the batter cover all of it then cook until it loosen from the pan when you move the pan back and forth, then flip it (the second side takes less time). Add more butter/margarine and repeat utill you run out of batter. Remember to throw the first one away (this is the offering to the pancake gods). Serve with jam, sugar whipped cream or fresh berries.

I think we're going to finally sojourn over to Zombie Burger for the first time this weekend. I'm probably more excited about this than is really necessary.

Hey uncommonman , what's the kind of jam the guy's yelling about? Did the king make that jam? It is a jam made from raspberries and European blueberries (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaccinium_myrtillus).

No that is danish food /s. But yes it's closer to a crepe than an American pancake. But crepe is thinner so they are more about the filling than the crepe.

This week my brother is out of town (the meat hating bastard that he is), so I'm gearing up for steaks! I do mine in a cast iron pan. Start it with a nice sear on the stovetop and finish it in the over. Turns out great. Here is a pic of the last time I made them. Sides are roasted broccoli with garlic and roasted potatos.
