Are you running a Halloween-specific game? If so, what are you doing? Is it an unrelated one-shot just for Halloween, or are you working a horror-themed session into an ongoing campaign? This year, I'm doing the former for one of my groups. I'm interrupting our 5e campaign with that GM's and the players' permission in order to run something in Savage Worlds. A local "haunted house" attraction has come under attack by the forces of the supernatural. The police are on scene but they are unable to deal with monsters, ghosts, and witches! In a situation like this... WHO YA GONNA CALL?The situation is that a performer at the haunted house found a strange ritual in an old book and decided to include it in her act. Unfortunately it turned out to be quite real and managed to call a certain very special ghost* from the strange extradimensional space of the containment grid... *And unlike the cartoon, I'll pronounce his name correctly...

I wanted to run The Shab-al-Hiri Roach, but couldn't get the book in time. I have it now, though. Hopefully next year (and maybe I'll even have a chance to run it before then).

I ran this GURPS Old West/Horror game on Fantasy Grounds, and had a great time.
