I am visiting my sister and they have a sweet little used book close to her boyfriend’s work. I visited it for the first time today. And found some really cool RPG books. I bought some and kicking my self for not buying a couple more. But what I did get I’m happy with; GURPS third edition basic set, In Nomine limited edition, and Corporation. I got each for around $13 Canadian. What I’m sad about leaving behind is Battletech Master Revised Rules, The Seventh Seal with players guide (know nothing about but looked cool), and Gear Krieg RPG and extra folder of things. Also had some other Battletech stuff and Heroes Unlimited and Villains and Vigilanties.
GURPS makes me feel like one of the club. Does third edition work well?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with 3rd Edition. It's functional across all genre except maybe SUPERS.

I would say that third edition is equal to fourth edition. They are different, but I don't think one is better than the other.
In fact, there are a PLETHORA of 3rd end used books out there. But Chronovore is right, Supers breaks GURPS (prior to 4th ed).

Oh, baby… say that one more time, slowly: "Chronovore is right."
I'm married; I don't often get to hear it phrased with so little equivocation…!
