I don't know if this situation occurs in another gaming system. In my country are two types of player in Vampire the Masquerade. The first are the kind of player the enjoys the horror and fun the game can offer. The other type likes to play X-Men the Masquerade making characters sheets with 5 points in brawl and firearms and merits overpowers, but his character was a housewife in human life.
-The first type thinks the overpower cut out the fun. "Look a werewolf appears" Player 1 "I can deal with him". (Potence 5, Celerity 5, Brawl 5, Strength 5 and Merits overpower).
-The second type thinks, "Why should i make a shit sheet?" "I don't wanna play with a weak character" "Celerity 1, ridiculous!"
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
