JACKERS!!! If you were trying to make someone a HJ fan but they would only listen to ONE EPISODE, which episode would you recommend they listen to and why? We are thinking of writing a quick start guide for new listeners and I'm curious what episodes you'd all include. EDIT: I WILL BE ASKING FOR AP FAVES SOON TOO! THIS QUESTION IS JUST FOR THE WEEKLY CAST!

For APs, I'd say the Masks One-Shot. It's a rare(r) system to see in an AP, the players were great and the characters colorful. If we try and grab people with a long-run AP, it could be daunting to be on episode 1 of 30.

I don't know what episode, but Stu's advice to worry about the problem and not the solution changed the way I GM.

There were a couple of (relatively) recent shows with Stu, Stork, Kimi, Gina, plus either JiB or Tim. Without disrespect to the other hosts, I think this set intersection would represent a recognisable (modern) core of personalities with a decent spectrum of opinion and energy while keeping the number of expletives to a minimum.

Some of the ones with just Stu and Tappy on was hilarious, especially when Tappy was getting drunk. I loved those. They also had really good gaming content, and the combo was killer.
Season 8 maybe? Guessing wildly.

I was just listening to some recent episodes that I had seen online, but hadn't listened in podcast form. I found 21.04 (Stu, Kimi, Tappy, Jason), and the discussion of agency and fear (which I think had spiraled online and the week prior) was handled really well in this episode. I'm only half-way through, I'll let you know if it devolves :-) EDIT: Yep, I think it's, on the whole, a really good example episode. Even probablyok constantly reminding the rest of the hosts that they were in the middle of a question was perfect: shows how the show may normally devolve a bit, but kept it mostly on point. Each email was answered fairly thoroughly and the questions were all good.
