Rippers

So I started a Rippers Game using roll20.net for my wife and her sister and brother in law and was curious if anyone has run it and has any recommendations, suggestions or tips.
So far I have only run them through the starting plot point. My wife has played Savage Worlds but the in laws have never played before so I was going to put off having them start their own lodge until the get the basics down. Does anyone know if it takes much more to add in the Lodge right away or have any suggestions?
The adventure generator seems to imply that you should be able to ask them at the beginning of the night what they want to do that night roll it up and be going. that seems a bit optimistic of me. I asked them at the end of the night what they wanted to do the next game and rolled it up the next day at work to get the basis a couple quick web searches for urban legends in London and I put together a nice little adventure it only took me about 30 minutes which is great, however I don't see how I could make it come together much faster and I would not want my players sitting around 20 minutes waiting for me to throw something up. Has anyone used this the way suggested and been successful rolling and running before the game?

I tend to use material from SW plot point settings but not the plot itself. People, places, things all may show up but I tend to make the story myself. Just what works for me. I also tend to mix and match things from multiple settings to get what my players and I want.
I have not run a Rippers campaign, but I would be hesitant to think I could just spin it up on the fly reliably. But then I'm pretty OCD about game planning.
I would be hesitant to have them make a lodge straight off. Seems to me like the sort of thing they should work up to.

I don't think I'd just roll one up on the spot either.
As to the lodge, I'd have them join a small lodge, then sometime when they've had some experience and are maybe off in another country or something, have the cabal destroy it.
Then they can build their own lodge, get benefactors, etc.

Alright well I am glad I am not missing something that would allow me to throw a adventure together in 2 minutes. So I had started the group in a small lodge and plan on waiting for the lodge stuff until the two new players have the base rules down okay. I really dont know if I will get around to the plot points at all but it is nice to know they are there if I my players do decide they want something more structured.
So my party is made up of:
Dr. Niles Merryweather who saw his wife killed and his unborn child ripped from her belly by a Vampire he was saved from being a meal himself at the last minute by some rippers. Now he has a death wish which led to a major cocaine habit and throwing himself into just about any fight he can find.
Lady Emily Compton a British noble woman born and raised in Egypt following her parents around dig sites. Her father was a secret Ripper who was killed by the cabal after unearthing a Relic. She read his journals found out about the rippers joined up with the egypt group and shortly after her mother dragged her back to England.
Lady Genevieve Millicent Lothringen a disowned French Noble woman turned Courtesan/Inventor. She moved to London after being disowned set up a weird science lab in a basement and started a brothel above it to help fund her experiments and gather information.
