Re: celebrating 2000 listeners: why not steal an idea used elsewhere and have a google+ gaming convention over a weekend . . . this would allow people from different timezones to get involved with minimal inconvenience. There was another podcast that did this, shorter though, just a day. Monkeycon 0 it was. A very good time was had by... well, at least me. They used conplanner.com made by the guys at fear the boot. It worked fine, and it's free. We could try to take over a day or so at www.aethercon.com they're covering the Nov 16-18 weekend. I haven't looked into it much, but they seem to be getting a lot of support.

I used conplanner for my birthday con. It's a very powerful tool and seems like it can support conventions with hundreds (if not thousands) of participants.

All flesh must be eaten does have a gang up rule of sorts built into the combat. During a round of combat you get one attack and one defensive action at no penalty. Every one of those actions beyond the first incurs a stacking - 2 penalty. So for example if you are surrounded by 4 zombies and they all swing at you the first dodge is at no penalty and by the fourth one you have a - 6 on a d10. This is different for ranged attacks. If you want a gritty zombie game I highly recommended afmbe it's simply and wicked fucking deadly.

I am a bit behind and just finished this episode.
For Spaceman LA that had the problem with the braggadocio in his group, I think i would play it a bit like this: Have one of the big bads address the guy before the fight. "We have heard of you and have been watching you. You have shown us your weaknesses, now we will destroy you... and start hitting him with Will and ethereal stuff.
You pump up his ego by acknowledging the good deeds, but you show him that the enemies aren't going to be as easy moving forward as they know his shtick and it is up to him to alter tactics.
2000 listeners: Since Kimi will miss Feb con: All hosts go topless for the live episode with audience participation of who wants join in. Strange take on Rocky Horror.
Charity: In the same way that people bet on everything in the Super Bowl, make it so you can pledge on a bunch of stuff: In one hour of a Savage Worlds game, i pledge a dollar per die explosion; or I will pay a dollar for everyone "1" that Stork rolls up to $50. Something like that could be really cool.
Just my kruppelfinks or whatever the hell Jib says.
