Fantastic episode, douchebags, and I'm only halfway through it so far. The "Agency" dead horse needs to be reclassified as Undead, because it hasn't stopped returning for more beatings. Thank goodness that tappy 's big brain has been brought to bear, showing that there are simply many fine hairs on that dead horse's mane to split. Also kudos to Kimi for bringing up the nature of trust, and how inherent it is to whether or not we can accept any change in agency where the Player/Player-Character seam occurs. As for ORGANIZING, the suggestion from Stu Venable to always have the same time slot is ideal. And as an ideal, it can frequently be unrealistic, as it is with my group. We use doodle.com to poll across all available times the GM can play (me) and then everyone fills out the rest. Usually we have the full group attendance in 1 case across 3 or 4 choices. Other times, we have to run short a player. Doodle also supports Time Zones, so when the time is finalized, it confirms for players in their time zone, and they can download an .ICS file for the calendar app of their choice. Additionally, I send that .ICS as an attachment in the confirmation mail. So far, this has worked a treat.

andreasdavour, your player simply wants to be an Iconic hero, which is a hero that is not changed by the story, but rather "re-imposes order on the world by reasserting his essential selfhood" (Robin Laws) tappy Some Vyvyan moments to share with the philistines: Oh can while we're at it, Motorhead provideing the incidental music (the had a great guest band every week) BTW, You don't need to create a WWDITS campaign for Vampire the Masquerade: every game WANTS to be Only Lovers Left Alive, but they all end up being What We Do in the Shadows.

The Motorhead scene in the Young Ones is one of my favorite television moments.

Can't wait to see the What We Do In The Shadows tv show out of curiosity, and apparently there's a werewolf sequel coming out.

Regarding "What We Do In The Shadows", I also greatly enjoyed "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" (also directed by Taika Watiti). Not as funny as "What We Do...", but I enjoyed it all the same.

Apparently there's also a paranormal investigation spin off about the two police officers in the works.

Yeah, after Thor Ragnarock, Taika Waititi can pretty much do what ever he wants.

I would have loved Thor: Ragnarok if it wasn't Thor. I get that Thor needed some changes to stay entertaining after the past few films, but how that movie rolled with Ragnarok, the Asgardians, and the land of Asgard in general really felt to me like the identity of Thor was kinda reduced to something less impressive.
That's all I'll say without adding spoilers, but I do love Waititi overall.

In the spirit of Kirby’s cosmic art style, and, more importantly, Walt Simonson’s Thor run. Wherein, lest we forget Thor became a frog in Central Park and lost his hammer to Beta Ray Bill (both of which were referenced in the film) and of course, the Executioner sacrificed his life firing twin assault rifles. It was absolutely Thor.

I didn’t realise until after seeing his turn as Korg, that Taika Waititi also played Viago in WWDITS

It was absolutely Thor. Yes, it had those things. It paid a lot of homages. It also did a lot of things that made the Asgardians "just another space race whose prophecies and legendary foes don't matter".

Exceedingly happy that I managed to get stu to read his very own, personalised "Dad joke" about Cthulhu.
