My ball dice melted after a couple of days. Weird... Don't use ice ya weirdo. Are you sporting for shrinkage?

Long time listener (started at the End of Season 2 and consumed the small backlog (at least at that time)) new poster. I am not really a joiner but needed to ask some questions . Last year I moved to Fairbanks, Alaska (from Austin, Texas) and despaired that I would not find a group to game with. I am pleasantly surprised to find that there are a bunch of gamers up here in the frigid north. I found a group and we've played 2nd Ed D&D and Pathfinder. I am trying to lure them into Dresden Files but, we'll see if that will work. I'm a scorpio I was raised on D&D 1st and 2nd ed, Robotech, and Cyberpunk, graduated to Old World of Darkness (with some Battletech and Rifts). I am looking forward to trying Savage Worlds and Traveler, thanks to the reviews of the Happy Jacks Crew. I am glad to join the community. Sorry for the long wind! Hi All,
While Benji is not my birth name, it's my given name from Ren Faire going back about 20 years. We had too many Mikes in our group so folks ended up calling us our character names. Somehow it stuck like a d4 in your foot at 3 am after game night.
I stumbled onto the podcast back in it's first season but didn't really start listening in earnest until earlier last year. I caught up with the shows I had missed (gee grandma, what a huge backlog you have) and even had the pleasure of playing in a few HJ games the LA conventions. And now ... I'm starting to lurk around here. You poor bastards.
I started playing D&D in1980 with the red box. Since then I've GM'd or played AD&D, 2nd Ed, 3rd/3.5 Ed, Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, TFOS, White Wolf's storyteller and even D&D 4.0 (and still trying to get the bad taste out of my mouth). Thanks to the podcast, I've recently started checking out new games such as Grimm, Savage Worlds, Pathfinder and Mongoose Traveller. I'm also one of those MMO junkies (currently in a 12 step program ... just one more level), a board game addict. I might even play Warhammer/40k if I ever find the time to paint all those damn miniatures. In short (too late) I'm a gamer. Luckily, my fiancee is not only very patient and understanding, but she's becoming addicted to gaming as well.

Oh, and I also used to LARP. We refer to those years in hushed tones as the "dark times". Still, there's nothing like wailing on some other geeks with "safe"' weapons (no weapon is safe when you nail some jackhole in the junk ... oops, my bad). Beats the hell out of the rock-paper-scissors.

Thought I'd introduce myself. Name Is Joel, however I go by Jolkman on the intenet. I'm form Sweden, living in Haninge about 20 km from Stockholm, so pretty close. I'm currently 20 years.
I'm a guy who currently have way too much free time and are part of 8 diffrent campaignes. Where I'm running 3 of them, o1 of the is a backup game.
My first system was Dark Heresy, but I play almost any system. The system I have spent most time with is Pathfinder. Lately, I've been moving towards generic systems like GURPS.
Have listened too the podcast for a long time now(at least a few years).I will never forget the mail I sent in about meta-gaming and how I killed my friends character in one shot in GURPS, I'm still glad he wasn't upset about it. I used to lurk on the old forum (didn't post much), but I thought it was time to join the new one.

Greetings all... I have been listening to since the inception of the show (no filthy backlog for me) and have written in a couple times. Role-player since the age of 6 thanks to my neighbors (I am 35 now so I'll let you do that math).
I love what you guys do both with the podcast and with the Boggards. BTW, Paris Kennedy gives me a boner.
Hoping to contribute a bit here and there. Thanks!

Hi, everybody! (Hi, Dr. Nick!) I'm the cohost of Postcards From The Dungeon, second banana to Runester. I've been listening for a long time and occasionally writing in, but never got around to joining the forum...until now. Everything you need to know about me you can (and should) learn from my podcast, but the high points are: gamer for over 30 years, GURPS is my longtime favorite but I'm really into Savage Worlds and Fiasco right now. If you're ever in the Cincinnati area, shoot me a note and we'll game!

Hey Jeb, glad to see you on these forums. I really enjoy your work on postcards. To paraphrase Stu, it's consistently good.
I just finished the pftd backlog. Or is that term reserved for happyjacks? :-)

Thank you for your kind words. We're glad to be back after a hiatus of a few months. I was afraid we were podfading. And you may call it a backlog--but it just doesn't have the same cachet or implications as happyjacks.

Is it me, or does something smell like week old tuna in here? Oh, that IS me, sorry...
Hey I'm RadZap, all you StratCon people know me as Arwyn Hunter (which is also an old old handle). I've been playing RPG's for a very long time, I think Bon Scott was still singing for AC/DC around the time I got into D&D and was part of a tournament winning crew at the Con before the magic craze hit and killed life as we know it.
I love the podcast *waves to Stu, Tappy, and Jib* yes I'm a man groupie.
Living in Irvine is a horrid wasteland of gaming, so if you are in OC, feel free to ping me for a game, I'll play anything and run any old TSR stuff (lemme just dig out my old copy of Metamorphosis Alpha), Traveller (orig homebrew), or GURPs game.
I'm currently betwixt jobs (which is a standard thing in the video game industry) and am furiously writing Cthulu based fiction so if you are interested in exchanging stuff for feedback, hit me up.
Oh, and I like beer, but I prefer sake. Cheers!

Hello everyone! I'm Drake from Orange County Ca. I just recently got back into gaming mostly interested in Pathfinder, but I am open to play just about any game. Back in the day I played Rifts, DnD 2nd, Robotech and few others that I can hardly remember. The show has been great to listen too during work and has kept me entertained on my commute. Looking forward to getting to know this community better. Peace!

Guess I ought to do this. I'm Hour11, I'm a professor writing my Dissertation. I've been gaming for about 17 years or so. I found the podcast early this year when my truck stereo shit out on me and all I had was the aux port - podcasts now commute with me to work.
I'm currently GMing 3 games, 2 that alternate Saturday's and a third that happens whenever I get writers block on the other two. I rarely get to play these days.
Systems I've GMed: Shadow run Gurps (about 12 different settings) Rifts In nomine Old vampire Old werewolf New vampire New hunter
Systems I want to GM: FlatPack: Fix the Future Little Fears My Life with Master New Changeling Psi*run Agents of S.W.I.N.G.
