My long term plan is that they're doing something that will make getting to the antedeluvian difficult or impossible.
A maze might do that....

THIS IS A REPOST FROM TIM'S "CURRENT PLAYERS STAY OUT" THREAD I figured I would post it here since it seems appropriate for this thread and to avoid derailing the other thread.

It definitely seems like they didn't make the transition from adventuring. Still a fun story, but I would like if they focused a little more on building their power base and out-thinking the problem rather than challenging everything to a fist fight.

Adrienne would benefit from some delegation. Also getting a Seneschal and a Scourge (I forget if they are part of Old World, but I always use the position)

It's weird, this whole situation would make for a great email to a podcast where the hosts offer counsel to GMs encountering problems when running games. Maybe Stu Venable should write such an email to such a podcast and see what the merry hosts have to say about his problem players.

I'd like to point out that my last post wasn't just a joke, I think it would be hilarious if Stu Venable did it without telling them in advance. Maybe he could even change the names and make sure to read the email when as many of the Mote players are there to see if they pick up on it. I would LOVE to see that! Talk about meta. Also, if they didn't pick up on it, it would be interesting to hear what kind of advice they could come up with for this poor struggling GM called, I dunno, Stan? Maybe that name would be too obvious, but I'm sure Stu could come up with something.

We've actually had a Slack conversation about it.

Right? I was totally hoping for an email! That would have been hilarious, and also fascinating to hear what the players themselves might have had to say on the topic, especially if they didn't realize it was about the Mote game. Dang.
