Aw, sad to see Albert go.
On the other hand, it will be really fun to see what Stork brings back, if he can do so. And if he can't, how about adding JiB? Loved his Lasombra in that oneshot with Kurt.

If I was ever invited to play in this game I think I would want to be an Assamite. No real reason but it'd be fun.

So just finished up 23 and decided to throw in a few last things.
Stu asked about Frenzy. You're not immune to mental disciplines but there are some bonuses to it. Also, nothing about not healing. Blood is a reflexive use and the Beast can use it in any means to preserve itself. Also, dodging is fine. The Beast still wants to survive so it won't just let someone attack it.
As far as RAW goes:
Pg. 298 A vampire in frenzy gains several temporary benefits from the state. Vampires in frenzy completely ignore all dice pool penalties inflicted by injury, until the frenzy ends. Once the frenzy is finished, the pain comes back and the crippling effects of the wounds take hold again. All difficulties to Dominate or otherwise mentally control a frenzied character are increased by two, and all diffculties to resist the effects of such mental control are reduced by two. The character never needs Willpower rolls to accomplish a feat, because the rage fueling the vampire’s actions is both a catalyst to heightened state of mind and a barrier against unwanted intrusions. Lastly, characters in frenzy are immune to the detrimental effects of Rötschreck.
I'm not sure Asa would have reverted. She'd only be paralyzed and her disciplines stop working properly so she'd probably be stuck in that form. Nothing I can find to back it up though.
Also, Asa will gain an animal feature according to her Clan Weakness.

I once had a gangrel with small antlers. Was a pain in the ass, but slightly hilarious.

Worked some more on the Mote group shot during The Walking Dead. Yep, I see Albert as a black man, played by Richard Roundtree.

Aw! stork I'm so sad to see Albert go. I felt his gruff presence kind of kept the other vampires honest. I really hope your work schedule let up, so you can get back to the game soon. Don't say Stu has enough players, this game has some rpg newbies, they need some more experienced gamer to balance out.

I hope Stork will be back soon, maybe with a Tremere in tow! If you are looking to add players in the meantime from the LA area, though, let us know.

After both of us (Stork and I) reread the rules on death, we have agreed that Albert would have needed one point of aggravated damage past "incapacitated" to be truly killed. While his schedule is still screwed up, his character is only "mostly dead."

I have actually been waiting to see if anyone who listened to the AP would catch the error. I think its a hold over from earlier editions that once a Vampire hits incapacitated with Agg damage they are dead. It seems to be a common misconception out there on some posts.
But in VtM20, it is pretty clear that incapacitated is incapacitated, no matter how you get there. Any damage taken while incapacitated takes you to Torpor. But if you take Agg damage while incapacitated, you skip over Torpor and go directly to final death. See pp 283 and 285
Albert took just enough damage to take him to incapacitated, not over, so yeah he is only mostly dead.
To which I say:
"Blaive......."

Mostly dead is then, I guess, a step up from his regular undead existence. Hmm. This is starting to feel weird.
