To bad stork survived, I feel character death enhance the game but at least my favorite character is still alive. And with all new complications I guess more character death incoming :-) Ps. I would have kept Albert dead because the werewolves wouldn't have been as affected by the mental attacks.

Yes, this. Totally this! Pentex is a company that it pretty much the Wyrm doing its chaotic and destructive self. Kimi could get herself on the board if you bring them in.

The top of my WoD wishlist is an updated Freak Legions and Pentex Subsidiaries. I can imagine Kimi getting on the board and slowly coming to realize that all the other members are mutants.

I agree on both fronts here, Pentex is perhaps my favorite thing from OWoD with the fomori being just delightful as well. As for the Dancers, I never said it wasn't a bad long term idea, just a very entertaining way to much about things. *evil smile* I would point out the Giovanni connection would likely make Adriane's getting on to the board difficult, but a sneaky mobster can always hide as King Brewery's or.... what-ever-the-medical-company-was and be a cloaked enemy at the gates.

Depends, I'm pretty sure since it's LA it's either going to be the Milliner Family, or Li Weng, which I believe have a Triad connection, but not totally sure. The Giovanni have always been one of my favorite clans. They've got such an interesting bunch folded into the clan, and they're completely about practicality. It's one of the many reasons they've survive on their own.

Werewolves can be affected by mental powers. Neither the Vampire nor the Werewolf book give them immunity. Correct, and at Werewolf page 476 you need a merit Untamable (5 pt. Merit)
You are a wild soul who has never bent to the leash. You are immune to vampiric Domination (but not emotional manipulations via Presence) and these Gifts will not work on you: Roll Over, Obedience, and Mastery. One good way for werewolves to "resist" vampire is to enter frenzy and kill them all

If it's from a matching addition, I don't think it's a huge game balance issue that it's a bit more powerful as the number of times it comes into play during a werewolf campaign should be significantly lower. Also, the vampire merit is only three points.

Also, the vampire merit is only three points. Iron Will feels like it should cost more. It doesn't grant immunity, but it applies to more powers than Untamable seems to. Though I suppose the new requirement for Willpower 8 does keep it from getting abused like older editions. Wonder if you can still take it then lose willpower later. For comparison: Revised

Iron Will's been outlawed in most games I've played for a while now. I'd rule that WP falling below that threshold would lose those benefits as well.

It was certainly something I saw get exploited a lot. Almost always a sign of someone going to be a pain in the ass player.

On the other hand, its nice to have if you suspect your ST is going to be a dick with Dominate.

It's vampire...everyone with Dominate is a dick. My main problem with it is that I don't like things that outright disable other characters' powers. Making it more difficult is fine, but even Dominate being the only one tied to generation always rubbed me wrong. With that being said, I *hate* mind control from a player perspective. It's possibly the least fun thing I can have happen to my character in any system, so I certainly see wanting to protect oneself.

A big issue is that Dominate goes out the window when you're dealing with Elders, usually, if you're playing neonates. NWoD handled powers like that much better with Clash of Wills mechanics, and the like.
Honestly, as long as it doesn't get used constantly, I don't mind Mind Control. Sure if the GM is being a dick and every little fetch quest he wants me to do, he uses Mesmerize to get me to do it, I'd be pissed but sometimes it's just something to overcome and I relish the challenge.
