What bordered me most was that he barged in to another vampire's room to complain that she had accidentally trespassed in his. I'm pretty sure the complaint happened in the mansion which was purchased as a meeting place for the Prince and her court (and, as Sheriff, Skully was an officer of the court) after her building got all blowed up. Skully did not barge into another vampire's haven or anything.

Skully was trying to deflect from the fact that he had a prisoner chained up in his love shack. That is true; the whole "thought he was a werewolf and attacked me" was thin at best. I played it that way on purpose, because Skully had never thought anyone would look in the sewers for the Malk. I'm still a little dubious on how anyone was able to track him there based on his scent when Skully went part-way in Little T's car which didn't actually drive to the sewer entrance Skully used, and it had been... several days, but c'est la vie. Anyway, since Skully didn't have that backup plan, I thought it would be cheesy if *I* had one prepared for him. So I made it up on the spot, and it was only because the Malk was thrice bound to Skully that he went along with it. It all would have collapsed with even the most basic aura perception attempts on the Malk, so I diverted attention through mock outrage. And the Malk was key to Skully's grand plan - which sadly will never see the light of day - and so it couldn't collapse.

You know, this could have all been avoided if you had just made Darren wear a wedding dress.

*blink, blink*
That's a really good idea. I wish I'd have thought of it.

What I'm wondering, Probie Tim, is what's up with Skully now? Are you just swamped with work or have you bowed out from the Mote game for good? I'd would hate for that to happen, as Skully was great fun.

What I'm wondering, Probie Tim, is what's up with Skully now? Are you just swamped with work or have you bowed out from the Mote game for good? Sadly... very, very sadly... I'm pretty much out for good. It's a "real life" thing. Basically, my GF recently graduated from nursing school and took a job which puts her working on the weekends. Her ex lives out in the desert, like a 2 hour drive (one way) from us. So... someone has to make sure that the girl child gets out to the desert to see Dad and back, and that the boy child gets to all of his local theater engagements (he's an aspiring actor). That someone is... me. Which means that all weekend gaming - not just the Mote - is no longer an option for me. As far as what's up with Skully, well, he disappeared. What he's doing now, where he's at, well... that's a bit of a mystery, isn't it? If I have my way, it'll stay that way. It's totally Stu's game, but... *I* would rather not see Skully NPCed, and while I don't want to set the expectation - or even hope - that he'll be back, I'd rather that door not get completely shut. For what it's worth? I've seen all the comments people have made about Skully and how I played him, and I'm humbled by the feedback. So... thank you all for the kind words and stuff. It was a true pleasure playing that little fucker.

You know, as a favor to me? Can we please just let that die? I don't get to play Skully any more - a fact I'm not real happy about - and I'd rather not see some random, twisted fanfic piece be the defining aspect of his, eh, legacy.

And as for me, I already told Probie Tim I'd drop it. It's not fair to him - he really loved playing Skully. I would hate it if someone did this same to Gabriele (my vamp in his game).

I really enjoyed Skully and the way you played him. Very funny and oh so conniving. He went away and who knows what lurks beneath the streets, eh?
