I'm in the same boat as joegun, wrapping mine up tonight and hopefully it will be quasi-acceptable. I'm really tempted to scrap it all and shoot for an AMAAAAAAZING entry, but I don't think my brain would agree with that idea.

I won't answer as to whether or not we'll do another until after we've done the judging process. After that I'll know...

I'm very excited to see everyone's entries and how they organize their thoughts.

Just sent my two submissions in, hope they stand up against everybody elses and that I've not missed an obvious typo etc, absolutely hate proofreading.

Finally remembered this and came up with an idea for it last night but sadly won't have time to write the bloody thing down before the deadline. Ah well - hope you manage to do another one of these some time!

I hope i didn't go overboard with my formatting and stuff. I made it all spiffy. I hope spiffy isn't a bad thing.

I hope spiffy isn't a bad thing. If it is, then I'm screwed. As a graphic designer/layout artist by day, I can't not make my personal stuff look spiffy.

I did not send anything. If this goes well will you run it again? My experience with such contests shows that there are probably 50% more people wanting to do it, but are timid to throw their hat into the ring. It is usually the 2nd time that sees a huge explosion because then everyone sees the entries and go "oh, that, I can do that". If they do it a second time, they'll have lots more entries. Usually the second time also brings the professionals, so the first time is usually the only time amateurs really have a shot, which is unfortunate as they're usually timid and don't enter the first go around either.

Right now, we have more entries than ANY of us thought we'd have.
We're at 41 right now. I was going to harangue the hosts to write their own (not eligible to win) in order to fill out the content of the collection. That won't be necessary (though I'll still encourage them to do so).
It has definitely been a learning experience seeing how different GMs organize their scenario material.
And about 1/2 the entries we've received have shown up this week.

Just like homework, why do it any other time than the night before, haha. My thoughts exactly. I fiddled and proofread my first one almost the entire time. Writing it was easy since I already had it in a bigger format, but then polished it for weeks. The second one I did was done between 9 and 12 Thursday night.
