I strongly recommend staying system agnostic as well.
If someone feels uncomfortable enough with their mastery, or enjoyment of a system, they'll likely not contribute. If you specifically don't require any stats, then anyone can contribute.
Plus, it's not as if our GMs aren't fluent enough in their own systems to be able to stat up whatever they need.

Imho the problem with system agnostic isn't on the GM side, it's a hassle for the players, unless they always stay with one GM and his system they'll need the same character in several versions.

Okies... I'm a tidge confused then. Are we talking about a shared world or an organized play campaign?

At this point, I have stuff ready to start throwing on to the wiki. Maybe we should talk through how we want to organize it? I've never worked on a wiki before. Anyone have a good "How-to" so everyone is thinking along the same ley line?

The "How-to" is gonna come down to what we do. Right now in the poll multi-genre is winning. So the major question is how we do it, I, as well as some others are going for the multiversal city idea while others just want a series of universes.

We could do both - a multiversal city that spans several universes as a sort of nexus point. The outskirts of the city's different districts becoming increasingly tied to a given alternate reality ie the further you go out of city the harder it is to breach alternate realities. OR a persistent city that travels through the different realities - it's location is consistent but it can only exist in one reality at a time ie: the city itself is multiversal but the reality beyond it's wall shifts cf: Tanelorn. First, build a system agnostic shared world to get as many people involved as possible. Later, take that shared world and build an organized play campaign based on it for whatever system people agree on.

So what is this name of this "Neverwhere/Everywhere City" in Jackerlandia ?
"Douchebaggia." "Angry Folk Empire." "Venable." "Reklesabendon." Other easily better suggestons ?
Thoughts?
I'll create an Obsidian Portal Page with the name as soon as five people agree. After that this shit gets rollin!

I do like "Angry Folk Empire" nice quadruple meanings. Angry (mean, annoyed, ugly wound) Folk (people, music), Empire (political, personal, archaic absolute control).
1. Mean People Controlling Everything 2. Annoyed Music Controlled by One Person 3. An Ugly Wound Created by Emperor Bob Dylan. 4. Mean Music Controlling Everything Archaically
Can the Elder God of the empire be "He Who Sits in Pasadena Burping" ? My contribution will be The Bealarium Quarter ruled by militant bald dervish dwarves with a penchant for black powder weapons and worshiping the Sun God Sol. They are currently seeking to root out an insurgent cult of those who worship Stuthulhu before it takes over.

Hmm.
Multi-versal sounds like a good compromise, let's everyone do whatever they want... but aren't we kind of doing that already? It would basically be everyone doing their campaign worlds and saying "oh there's a door/city that links it all".
It might not be a popular opinion, but I'd rather it be small scale. That way we all bump into each other. I have to send messages to DT Pints about his nation because it looks like my players are heading that way. Maybe my players head to a place between nations that isn't mapped, now maybe DT Pints and myself Collaborate on a cross cultural middle nation. Maybe like everyone gets this main "island" nation for themselves, and areas in between are collaborative areas between another Jacker and themselves?
If we're going to have a shared world, I say stop trying to make it where we can isolate ourselves, encourage us all to be right up next to each other, encourage us all to work together to make something special. Not give everyone their own dimension and just barely connect everyone.
I just do not see the point of coming together for this large, massive plan of being "together" and then working so hard to make sure we can all do whatever we want without bothering anyone else.
